Living is downright miserably tough.
Another day of trudging and trying to not lose the mind – entirely.
Beginning at the start of each early morning work day.
Ending at the giving in to closing eyelids and the crawl into bed.
Tossing, turning, and sighing, before the deep sleep finally comes.
The day’s aggravations, replaying in the mind.
Tomorrow’s piled procrastinations, causing much dread.
Impatiently, the planted flowers had been hovered and waited for to bloom.
But for what purpose? Because they too, seem to realize the frivolousness of living, and will wilt within a day or two.
Therefore, I cannot help but bow my head down low. And pray to the great God of this universe.
Because it is only He, who can give me help. It is only He, who can give me hope.
The very amount of hope that I need over this life’s hardships and heartaches.
Tomorrow, I shall hope for a rainbow, a fluttering butterfly, and a flower’s bloom. Yes, I shall.
The people who walk in darkness
will see a great light.
For those who live in a land of deep darkness,
a light will shine.
